Stay weather aware this weekend! The graphic below is the latest update from the National Weather Service. The potential exists to receive over 6+ inches of snow.

❄️ Please help out our city plow drivers and remove vehicles from streets and avenues.

❄️ Follow and continue to monitor our page for updates. A Snow Alert may
need to be issued which could result in parking tickets being issued for vehicles left on the street during plowing. Again, this announcement would be posted on Facebook as well as news outlets.

❄️ If traveling is necessary, check out 511 roadway information to get the latest road condition reports.

Winter isn’t quite done yet, but the weather is projected to improve by the middle of the week next week with temperatures returning to the 40’s and 50’s.

⚾️💙 Lights On in Memory of Carter Johnson 💙⚾️

Tonight from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, the lights at Legion will be illuminated in honor of Carter Johnson.

Carter was tragically killed in a bus accident in Iowa on Wednesday. He was a former player for the American Legion Post 22 team in Rapid City and a current player for Iowa Lakes Community College.

The Milbank community shares in the deep grief held by his family, friends, teammates, and coaches. The baseball community is tightly connected, and tonight we stand together in remembrance.

If you are near the field this evening, we invite you to take a quiet moment to reflect and honor Carter’s memory. ⚾️
