At 930 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Bitter Lake, or near Waubay, moving southeast at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.

Locations impacted include...
Waubay, Rush Lake, Bitter Lake, and Blue Dog Lake.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

* WHERE...Portions of central, north central, and northeast South
Dakota.

* WHEN...From 11 PM this evening to 8 AM CDT Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Frost and freeze conditions could kill crops, other
sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor
plumbing.

Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold.
