Want something fun, educational, historical, and memorable to do this summer in celebration of America 250? The Kosciusko County Convention & Visitors Bureau and the Kosciusko County Historical Society have partnered with local organizations to showcase rich local heritage through the "America 250 in Kosciusko County Passport." The program features 12 historic locations throughout the county to highlight 250 stories, artifacts, and landmarks connected to local and national history, and the Milford Public Library is included in that group! The Library has on display various artifacts relating to the rich history of the Library and the town of Milford. We invite you to begin your historical journey at the Library or any of the other places listed on the Passport provided by the Visitors Bureau. Below are just a sampling of the Milford town/library history you'll discover while visiting us. For more information, you can contact the Visitors Bureau at VisitKosciuskoCounty.org/250-Passport , or call the Milford Library at 574-658-4312.

The Milford Library team is excited to welcome you to our SUMMER READING PROGRAM kick-off on Wednesday, June 3, at 2:00pm! We will have TRACTORS of all ages and sizes at the Library! We'll also have other fun activities related to "unearthing" stories and celebrating America.
There will be antique tractors parked along Catherine Street outside the library for viewing, and get this: "TRACTORS IN THE PARKING LOT YOU CAN TOUCH!"
The library parking lot & Catherine Street in front of the library will be blocked off for the event, but parking can be found in the town lot.
Thank you to Wyatt Haab & Family, Tom Perry and members of Nappanee Power from the Past, and Eric Kolberg & Family for supplying the tractors!

The Library is excited to welcome Amber Haab as our newest staff member! Many may remember Amber as she worked at the library in the early 2000s. She left after a few years to spend time with her young family, but with the kids pretty much grown now, she has returned to work part time in the Adult Department. Amber says she is excited to be back at the Library and ready to help patrons in any way she can!
