START THEM YOUNG!🥇✨️

It was a great morning to host a Youth Pickleball Clinic! Pickleballers Dawn Pitts and Tammie Gaines taught the game to young players- thank you both!👏

Pickleball continues with our 16+ open gym play. Scheduled for 6-8pm Tuesday nights at the Caroline Community Services Center, entry is $2 per player.

Summer Camp Ready! 🏖🎉

Today Parks and Recreation staff spent the day at Newport News Parks & Recreation - Athletics participating in VRPS: Virginia Recreation & Park Society Summer Survival. Joining more than 200 camp counselors, staff learned about being a superstar counselor, various camp games and activities and ways to make camp the best experience for attendees. Many thanks to all involved in organizing this fun and educational training!

We are ready for our campers next week as we begin our Summer Exploration Camp. We will see you there!
