The mission and objective of Network of Executive Women has remained unchanged since our founding in 1979. Watch for posts about location.

There is a need for an organization that gives women the opportunity to share resources, discuss problems, objectives and make business contacts." ..Phyllis Holt, Founder - 1979 Our goal is to address the common interests of women in the business community and to help all of us grow and prosper as women in business. Network of Executive Women is also dedicate

d to providing educational opportunities for women in need of financial assistance by awarding annual scholarships to be applied toward tuition and/or books. These scholarships are funded through Network sponsored events, member participation and private donations. Membership is limited in the by laws to women in management, professionals and entrepreneurs who are involved in decision and policy making for their respective companies. (Please refer to our membership page for more information.) If you believe you meet our membership criteria, we welcome your participation! Regularly scheduled luncheon meetings are held the first Tuesday of each month. Our luncheon meetings begin at 12:15 pm, with speakers or programs from 1:00 to 1:30 pm. Non-members are welcome to attend Network luncheons as a guest [non-member] a maximum of 2 times, after which they must become a member in order to attend. Special events are also held periodically throughout the year, as well as an annual fundraiser for our scholarship program.

What a fantastic September Luncheon! We had a great turnout for an incredibly engaging afternoon with Liz Garypie of E.G. Insights, LLC .

Her round table discussion on Who's Got the Monkey, had us all thinking about how we manage our time, where our responsibilities really lie, and how to stop collecting other people's monkeys (problems).

We also had the joy of pinning some new members today. Welcome to the NEW family! We are so glad you've joined us.

In 1979, a woman named Phyllis Holt looked around and saw a gap. Women in business had no dedicated space to come together, share resources, talk through challenges, and build the kind of relationships that help businesses grow. So she and five other remarkable women did something about it.

More than 45 years later the Network of Executive Women is still here, still doing exactly that, and still believing that women are better when we lift each other up.

What an incredible afternoon with our August luncheon speaker Suzanne Cahill, founder of Milford Living Magazine and Executive Director of the Connecticut Lodging Association !

Suzanne spoke on The Hospitable Leader and left every woman in the room with something to think about. She talked about what it means to stand your ground, the very real differences women face in leadership roles and how to protect your peace.

Thank you Suzanne for such a powerful and meaningful conversation.

Scholarship Spotlight 🌟

This is exactly why we do what we do!

"My summer has been wonderful, and I'm incredibly grateful for the continued support from the Network of Executive Women. I'm happy to share that I recently completed Calculus I and earned an A-, which was a big accomplishment for me. I'm currently taking Biology II, and I'm really enjoying it. This fall, I'm excited to continue my journey by taking Chemistry and Physics, bringing me one step closer to earning my Bachelor's degree in Biology.

My children are doing very well and growing so fast. They continue to be my greatest motivation to work hard and pursue my educational goals.

Receiving this scholarship has encouraged me to keep moving forward, and I'm truly thankful for the investment you have made in my education and future. I look forward to all the opportunities this next semester will bring."
