Today we want to share more about our Adaptive Recreational Riding Program! This program provides a fun, supportive, and engaging experience for riders ages five through adulthood. 🐴 Led by PATH Intl. certified instructors, our small-group lessons include grooming, riding activities, games, and hands-on horse care. This helps in creating meaningful connections and builds confidence every step of the way.

Hiring! Cincinnati Therapeutic Riding & Horsemanship (CTRH) is seeking a Part-Time Program Coordinator to help grow our Grounds Program for individuals with epilepsy.

✨ 15 hours per week
✨ Flexible schedule
✨ Grant-funded, 6-month position with the possibility of renewal
✨ Opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals and families in our community

Responsibilities include participant recruitment, community outreach, registration support, volunteer coordination, and assisting with program activities.

Today we are highlighting our Miniature Horse Outreach Program! 🐴

Not every client can make it to the barn, so we bring the barn to them! Our miniature therapy ponies visit schools, care centers, and community programs to share the healing power of horses through calm and meaningful interaction. These personalized outreach visits help promote comfort, emotional wellness, and connection for individuals and small groups who may not otherwise have access to Equine Assisted Services.

Our Grounds Program for individuals with epilepsy offers a safe, supportive way to experience the therapeutic benefits of horses—without riding. Through hands-on activities like grooming, leading, and horse care, participants of all ages build confidence, independence, and meaningful connections with our horses in a fun and encouraging environment. 💜

Hippotherapy is a treatment strategy that uses the movement of a horse as part of licensed occupational or physical therapy sessions. Through these sessions, children as young as 2.5 can build balance, coordination, strength, and sensory processing skills in a fun and supportive environment. 💜
