The Milford Youth Sports & Park would like to express our gratitude for the support with the annual Hook & Slice tournament at the Milford City Golf Course and Milford Lake. This year’s event was in hopes of raising money for a helipad within the town of Milford, the goal is to ensure that in the event of an emergency in Milford, Wakefield, on Milford Lake or anywhere in between we would have increased access to emergency care. The dumpsters are now at the city building for spring cleanup for people that live inside the city limits of Milford. This is not for trash or bags of leaves. Trash you can put out to the curb at your house. Leaves and branches you can take to the burn pile but remember “NO” bags do empty the leaves out of the plastic bags. If you have any questions call the city.

The City of Milford will be having spring cleanup April 27 - 31. There will be 2 dumpsters at the city building. all citizens that participates will need to put your stuff as far in the dumpsters as possible. Nothing can be left outside of the dumpsters.

The following Items are not acceptable

No household appliances
No tires
No batteries
No concrete,
No rock
No household hazardous waste (paint,lubricants,herbicides, insecicades, chemicles, oils etc)
No dead animals
No branches or bags of leaves

As the Mayor of Milford I would like to reach out and express my gratitude for the Geary County Water Rescue and Junction City Fire Rescue teams. Today these groups worked together to save the lives of duck hunters on Milford Lake. Their response was quick in significant weather conditions.

Thank you for all for your support of Milford and Milford Lake.
