Get certified before summer starts! 🛟 Join our Lifeguard Certification Course - blended learning with online and in-person training. 🏊 Learn rescue skills, CPR, first aid, and more!

➡️ June 2026 Class:
Friday, June 19, 2026: 8:00am - 7:00pm
Saturday, June 20, 2026: 8:00am - 7:00pm
🛟 Participants must attend every class.
🛟Minimum age requirement is 15 years old. $350 for Milford Residents or $425 for non-residents. Participants who successfully complete this course receive an American Red Cross certificate for Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED valid for 2 years.

🇺🇸 **Memorial Day Holiday Schedule Reminder**

In observance of Memorial Day, the following Public Works schedule changes will be in effect:

**Monday, May 25**
Public Works will be closed.
The Transfer Station will also be closed.

**Tuesday, May 26**
Monday’s garbage and recycling routes will be collected.

**Wednesday, May 27**
Tuesday’s garbage and recycling routes will be collected.

**Thursday & Friday**
Regular garbage and recycling collection schedules will resume.

🇺🇸 As the Memorial Day weekend begins and in commemoration of our nation’s 250th birthday, Mayor Richard Smith and City Clerk Peter C. Smith invite you to Milford City Hall steps for an event to announce the most comprehensive known listing of Revolutionary War patriots connected to the historic Milford community, including present-day Milford, Orange, West Haven, and Woodbridge. The ceremony will include remarks from city officials and historians. Please, join us for this meaningful and heartfelt tribute to reflect and remember those who served with honor, courage, and sacrifice in the pursuit of liberty. 🇺🇸
