Join the Milford Public Library as we Gather on Main to celebrate our town with food, music, games and prizes. This is a day to slow down, meet your neighbors, and celebrate everything that makes our historic Main Street worth preserving. We'll also be honoring Milford's rich history as part of America250 — a nationwide commemoration of our country's story, told right here on our own block.

So come spend the afternoon with us on Main Street in downtown Milford, from Mill to Locust.

Laura Childs is the New York Times bestselling author specializing in cozy mysteries that have the pace of a thriller (a thrillzy!) Her three series are: of the Tea Shop Mysteries, Scrapbook Mysteries, and Cackleberry Club Mysteries.

We are pleased to announce that we have just gotten in 13 books of The Scrapbooking Mysteries – a slightly edgier series that take place in New Orleans. The main character, Carmela, owns Memory Mine scrapbooking shop in the French Quarter and is forever getting into trouble with her friend, Ava, who owns the Juju Voodoo shop. New Orleans’ spooky above-ground cemeteries, jazz clubs, bayous, and Mardi Gras madness make their presence known here!

If you like cozy mysteries check them out.

Volunteer Appreciation is about recognizing and rewarding the unpaid time and energy to the supporters of the Milford Public Library. Finding the right words to thank a volunteer is harder than it sounds. Volunteers don't get paid, not because they're worthless, but because they're priceless. Your time is a gift. Thank you for giving it to us.
