Another amazing Junior Police Academy wrapped up this week and participants explored real-world law enforcement activities like crime scene investigation, K-9 and drone demonstrations, mock traffic stops, and simulator training.

The Junior Police Academy is a collaborative activity sponsored by the police departments of Miami Township • Clermont County OH, City of Milford, OH, City of Loveland, Ohio - Government, and Goshen Township, Clermont County, Ohio.

Please help us congratulate Officer Skip Rasfeld! After 19 years of dedicated service to the residents of Miami Township • Clermont County OH, Officer Skip Rasfeld will retire at the end of his shift today.

Officer Skip Rasfeld has been one of the most visible members of the police department with his assignment as a D.A.R.E. America International instructor in both the Milford Schools and St Andrew-St Elizabeth Ann Seton School.

We wish Officer Skip Rasfeld all the best for a long, healthy, and happy retirement! 💙👮‍♂️

With the holiday weekend ahead, our modest food pantry in the lobby of the police department is running low. Items most in need include canned fruits, canned vegetables, canned soups, pastas, peanut butter, and cereal. If you would like to contribute, you can drop off items around the clock at 5900 McPicken Drive, Milford, Ohio 45150.

The food pantry is available 24/7 to all community members.

As always, take what you need, leave what you can.

Traffic Alert: State Route 28 between Meijer and Circle K.

Due to a vehicle accident that struck the traffic control box, the lights at the intersection are flashing red. Until this issue is resolved, please treat the intersection as a four-way stop.

🗓️ 𝐂𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐃𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬: May 18th, 2026, through June 19th, 2026

🚧 𝐂𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐃𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐬: Price Road will be closed to through traffic for landslide repairs beginning Monday, May 18th, and will remain closed through Friday, June 19th. The closure is located between addresses 5970 and 6040, with a detour route in place spanning approximately 8.19 miles (43,225 feet). Please plan your routes accordingly!
