Thank you, Mill Creek community! After smoke from regional wildfires forced us to postpone National Night Out earlier this month, our Mill Creek Police Department rescheduled the celebration at Buffalo Park for Tuesday, August 18 and it turned into a fantastic evening!

Highlights from the night included:
• Officer Sanchez hosting bilingual English/Spanish story time
• Officer Scot LaRose clocking a baseball well over the speed limit with the lidar
• Line dancing led by Citizen Patrol Lead, Barb Heidel
• A drone presentation from Officer Kosta Cooper
• Bocce Ball with pro level tips from Detective Sergeant Rod Fleming

A huge thank you to all our partners, sponsors, volunteers, and attendees who helped make the night special. We’re grateful to: South County Fire, Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife Police, the Kiwanis Club of Mill Creek & Key Club members for sharing their always popular kindness wall and keeping everyone cool with ice cold water, ADT Security, AT&T, Nothing Bundt Cakes, 7-Eleven, the City of Mill Creek Youth Advisory Board, and our wonderful emcee Jane Neff.

We also appreciate our vendors who joined us on the rescheduled date: the Cub Scouts, Girl Scouts of Western Washington, Mill Creek Library, Snohomish County DEM, Snohomish County LEAD, and Yay Big Yay High Yay Ice Cream WA.

We’re already looking forward to next year as we continue celebrating and strengthening public safety in Mill Creek.

NATIONAL NIGHT OUT IS TONIGHT!

Join us for our rescheduled National Night Out event tonight from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Buffalo Park (13401 44th Ave. SE)! Come meet your local police officers and firefighters!

Please remember to bring school supply donations to the MCPD tent and canned food donations to the Mill Creek Community Food Bank tent.

Join us for the 2026 National Night Out now on August 18th from 5:00–8:00 p.m. at Buffalo Park (13401 44th Ave. SE). Come meet your local police officers and firefighters!
We’ll have great food and activities for the whole family, including a drone demonstration, co****le, bocce ball, story time, and more!

Riding with the Blue Angels.

This past weekend, Mill Creek PD Traffic Officer Kyle Ramsey assisted Seattle Police Department with escorting the Blue Angel Pilots to and from King County International Airport and Boeing Field for their airshow during the 2026 Seafair event over Lake Washington and the Seattle Area. Officer Ramsey and Motor Officers from Lynnwood WA Police Department, Everett Police Department, and Snohomish County Sheriff's Office and other agencies across the region were honored to serve for this event.

Please join your friends and neighbors for a fun free community night with your Mill Creek Police Department.

Due to the forecasted air quality and out of an abundance of caution, we have made the difficult decision to cancel tonight's National Night Out event. We are working with our volunteers and vendors on a possible makeup date and will let you know if and when that is confirmed. Please monitor the air conditions and stay safe.

Mr. Dosanjh has been reunited with his family. Thank you for your help.

Missing Person!

We are asking for your help in locating 83 year old Raghbir Dosanjh. He left his home today around 1030 and likely boarded community transit. Raghbir was dressed like photo left and had a walker with him. According to his family he suffers from dementia and asthma.

If you see him please call 911.
