■Fundraising -- assist with the PTA annual school fundraising in the Fall and/or restaurant dine-outs (throughout the year). The Fall fundraiser is the primary source of PTA income to fund our many curriculum enhancing activities.
■Staff Appreciation – this group plans and coordinates eve

nts such as lunches and small appreciation gifts for the school staff throughout the year. This is a creative and fun way to get involved at the school.
■Book Fair – volunteers will be needed to assist with staffing the book fair. This event will be held twice yearly.
■Socials/Dances (ASB) – assist by organizing snack sales and providing supervision at Socials/Dances (twice per year; 1 in Fall & 1 in February).
■Programs – assist with events and programs sponsored by the PTA and brought into the school for students throughout the year.
■Eighth Grade Party – a fun event for eighth grade students as they prepare to depart Heatherwood – an evening toward the end of the school year.
■Eighth Grade Celebration – a ceremony and reception for eighth grade students and their families, representing the culmination of their 3 years at Heatherwood – an evening toward the end of the school year.
