It was a great evening weather wise and attendance was very good to be able to come together for another community meal. Thanks so much to those involved who devote their time and effort in helping with this amazing event! To have the opportunity to share a meal with others and to see the difference it makes in a community when everyone comes together to benefit others is a great blessing! Thanks to everyone for making it happen! We hope you enjoyed the evening spent with friends and neighbors!

It’s coming down section by section! Removal of the tank should be completed by next week sometime. Look at the welds that have been added over the years to keep that tank from leaking! Once the metal is removed then they can work on the concrete base.

More rain happening now!

A Severe Thunderstorm Warning has been expanded into Randolph and Tucker Counties. A Flash Flood Waning has been issued for Braxton and Webster counties. Avoid any standing water or waterways throughout the rest of the night in the flash flood warned area.

Just a couple of weeks ago we were discussing the need to get sand for sand bags at the water plant because the water level was getting so low. That’s not the case this morning as the water level continues to rise and more rain is on the way. We have been very fortunate lately! I hope our friends and neighbors stay safe and the communities north of us are not flooded again. There’s a lot of water still to come down the creek from Kumbrabow! Stay safe and be vigilant for the next day or so!
