Basic Boating Course – February 21, 2026
The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission, will host a Basic Boating Course on Saturday, February 21, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the District Learning Center.
This course is ideal for first-time boaters or experienced boaters looking to refresh their knowledge of Pennsylvania boating regulations, safety requirements, and best practices. The classroom-based course includes a certification exam at the end of the day. Participants who successfully complete the course will earn a Basic Boating Education Certificate.

Eligibility: Open to individuals 11 years of age and older.
Cost: Free to attend; $10 certification fee for the Boating Education Certificate
Lunch: A lunch break will be provided; lunch is not included (please bring snacks/drinks)
