TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF THE HARRISON SKATE PARK - The Harrison Skate Park will be temporarily closed from late June through early August while fencing is installed and site preparation work is completed for the interim campus.

The City and School District explored options to keep the skate park open during construction. Unfortunately, safety and insurance requirements associated with adjacent construction activities require temporary closure.

We understand this may be disappointing and appreciate the community's patience. The skate park is expected to reopen in early August.

During the closure, the nearest public skate parks are:
Scotty Lapp Memorial Skatepark
Pixley Avenue
Corte Madera, CA 94925

McInnis Skatepark
310 Smith Ranch Road
San Rafael, CA 94903

In honor of the 115th Dipsea Race, the Mill Valley Historical Society will be exhibiting some of the race’s 121-year-old history from 10 am - 6 pm, Friday June 12-Sunday June 14, at Epicenter Cycling in the old Wells Fargo building, downtown Mill Valley. Check out trophies dating back to 1912, mid-century race programs, race videos from the 1980s, ‘90s and ‘00s, and more. PG&E will host a Mill Valley Undergrounding Open House on Thursday, May 21st, from 1:00 – 2:30 p.m. at the Mill Valley Community Center (180 Camino Alto).

Community members are invited to learn more about upcoming undergrounding efforts, ask questions, and connect directly with PG&E representatives.

Tomorrow is Bike to Work/Wherever Day, and there are plenty of ways to participate, whether you’re commuting, riding for errands, or simply getting out for some fresh air! 🚲

Across the Bay Area, energizer stations will be set up to support riders throughout the morning. In Marin County, be sure to stop by the station near the Central Marin Ferry Connector, where representatives from TAM, MCBC, MTC, SMART, and Golden Gate Transit will be on hand with snacks, coffee, cycling information, and free Bike to Work Day musette bags filled with goodies.
