Rotary Club of Mill Valley Rotary is 1.2 million neighbors, friends, and community leaders who come together to create positive, lasting change in our communities and around the world.

The Mill Valley Rotary Club, with 97+ years of service, is a vibrant community committed to “service above self.” Join us at one of the Tuesday noon meetings at the Mill Valley Golf Course Clubhouse, check our schedule for dates. We are an organization of business and professional leaders united worldwide who provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, and help

build goodwill and peace in the world. In more than 160 countries worldwide, approximately 1.2 million Rotarians belong to more than 32,000 Rotary clubs. Rotary club membership represents a cross-section of the community's business and professional men and women. The world's Rotary clubs meet weekly and are nonpolitical, nonreligious, and open to all cultures, races, and creeds. The main objective of Rotary is service — in the community, in the workplace, and throughout the world. Rotarians develop community service projects that address many of today's most critical issues, such as children at risk, poverty and hunger, the environment, illiteracy, and violence. They also support programs for youth, educational opportunities and international exchanges for students, teachers, and other professionals, and vocational and career development. The Rotary motto is Service Above Self.

May is Youth Service Month! 🌟

The Rotary Club of Mill Valley is proud of our Interact Club students for a fantastic year of service projects supporting youth and seniors in our community.

Most recently, the Interact Club helped plan and execute the Youth Job Fair in partnership with Tam High and the City of Mill Valley, helping connect local students with job opportunities and career experience.

We’re inspired by these young leaders and their commitment to “Service Above Self.” 💙💛

Celebrating 100 Years of Service Above Self! 🎉

The Rotary Club of Mill Valley recently gathered at Boyle Park for a wonderful picnic celebration honoring our 100th year of serving the community and beyond.

We are incredibly proud of the impact our members continue to make through volunteerism, leadership, and charitable giving. During the 2025–2026 year, our club awarded $54,650 in grants supporting a wide range of organizations and causes, including youth leadership, mental health services, veterans, education, housing support, disaster relief, and international humanitarian efforts.

This year’s grant recipients included:

• The Redwoods
• Redwoods Alzheimer’s Walk
• The Kern Project (Dog Rescue)
• Schurig Center for Brain Injury Recovery
• Rotaplast (Child Cleft Palate/Lip Surgery)
• RYLA – Rotary Youth Leadership Awards
• Painted Bins
• Next Steps Liaison Project (Juvenile Justice)
• NAMI Marin (National Alliance on Mental Illness)
• Marin Villages
• Marin Council, Scouting America
• Kiddo!
• Interact Club (Job Fair)
• Homeward Bound of Marin
• Hannah Project Freedom School
• First Base Foundation
• Eagle Scout Projects
• Canal Fire Relief
• Cambodian Legal Education for Women
• Book Exchange of Marin
• America’s Fund / Semper Fi Fund (Injured Veterans)
• 10,000 Degrees (Scholarships)

In addition to our local efforts, our club has proudly supported an ongoing international project in Peru for several years. Partnering with a local Rotary club in Kusiyama, we have helped fund the construction of more than 35 greenhouses in a high-altitude community located at 12,600 feet elevation. These greenhouses provide sustainable, agro-based income opportunities for local families, with 60% of the produce feeding the community and the remaining harvest sold at market.

Several of our members had the privilege of visiting the community in 2018 and witnessing firsthand the lasting impact of this project.

Thank you to all our members, partners, and supporters who have helped make 100 years of service possible. Here’s to continuing the tradition of “Service Above Self” for generations to come! 💙💛
