Thank you to everyone who joined us yesterday for the Memorial Day parade and the Veterans Ceremony. It’s wonderful to see our community come together to honor the brave men and women who served our country. We appreciate everyone who helped make this day special! 🇺🇸

Join us for Mill Valley’s Annual Memorial Day Parade on Monday, May 25th!🇺🇸

The event begins with a Veterans Ceremony at 10:00am in downtown Mill Valley, followed by the parade at 11:00am.

🚧Parking Restrictions:
Starting 6am on Monday, May 25th, “No Parking” restrictions will be enforced on the streets surrounding Old Mill School, Lovell Ave, Throckmorton Ave, and Miller Ave.

🚧Traffic Modifications:
Throckmorton and Miller Ave will be closed from around 8:00 am until 1:00 pm. Please note that traffic through downtown MV on Throckmorton, Sunnyside, and crossing southbound Miller Ave between downtown and Tam High may be affected.
Lovell Ave will temporarily become a two-way street between Old Mill St and Corte Madera Ave from early morning until 12:00 pm on May 25th. “No Parking” restrictions will be in place on Lovell Ave between these streets.

Please look for alternative routes if you will be traveling across town. We look forward to celebrating with the community this Memorial Day!

Mill Valley Police Department was excited to participate in the 2026 Torch Run. We proudly received the torch from Central Marin Police Department and entrusted it to the Sausalito Police Department. Shout outs to Captain Haynes and Sergeant Longoria for putting in the miles!

Yesterday morning we had an amazing time visiting the TK class at Park School! We answered lots of great questions about safety and gave a tour of our patrol car. 🚔
