Diesel's Deer Recovery

Deer went over 600 yards from shot site. One lung but it did bleed out internally. I'm guessing it was alive 12 hrs after the shot.

Took this track near Lindsey last night, after bumping the deer out of a bed we pulled out. The hunter decided to have a drone come in to avoid tramping through the nasty clear cut. Well the drone was unsuccessful. We returned this morning to finish the job and 250 yards from his bed that we jumped him from we found him.

We tracked this beauty 500 yards after the hunter lost blood. Diesel took us to a bed with some blood in it and after the bed we had fresh blood. We noticed the deer was not going far and stopping in front of us so we backed out and told the hunter his best odds were to come in early in the morning and pick up the trail and if needed we would come back. He was able to track it roughly 120 yards to where the buck stood up out of his bed and he was able to get a finishing arrow into him at 5 yards.
