Representatives are available to assist veterans, family members, and caregivers with navigating federal, New York State, and Dutchess County benefit programs, including disability claims, property tax exemptions, transportation assistance, health care resources, and more.

A HUGE thank you to our heroic Millbrook Fire Department, NY for assisting in the massive fire at the Hudson Rive Psychiatric Center in Poughkeepsie yesterday.

Our community is so proud of their service and grateful for the role they played alongside neighboring departments.

The June calendar for the Washington Adult Program!

From 6/29/26 through 8/14/26, in lieu of the program being open from 9am-3pm on Wednesdays and Thursdays, seniors will be able to use the pool for FREE from 4pm-6pm on weekdays (Mon-Fri). This excludes Friday, July 3rd , and does not include guests.

TAKE NOTICE, that the Town Board of the Town of Washington will hold a public hearing at the Town Hall, 10 Reservoir Drive, Millbrook, New York on June 11, 2026 at 6:00 o’clock, p.m., on Local Law No. 1 of the Year 2026, a local law to amend the code of the Town of Washington relating to the collection of escrow fees for appeals before the Zoning Board of Appeals.”

A moment of impatience can easily lead to a crash, especially on narrow rural roads shared by many types of vehicles. By slowing down, staying alert, and being courteous, motorists can help ensure farmers get their work done safely and everyone gets home without incident.

Village of Millbrook residents are invited to participate in a Special Election on:

📅 Tuesday, June 23, 2026
⏰ 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM
📍 Village Hall, 35 Merritt Avenue, Millbrook, NY

Voters will be asked to consider two propositions:

🔹 Proposition No. 1 – Bingo
Would authorize eligible charitable, religious, educational, fraternal, service, volunteer firefighter, veteran, and civic organizations to conduct licensed Bingo games within the Village in accordance with New York State law.

🔹 Proposition No. 2 – Games of Chance
Would authorize eligible charitable, religious, educational, fraternal, service, volunteer firefighter, and veteran organizations to conduct licensed Games of Chance within the Village in accordance with New York State law.

✅ Eligible Voters
Village residents who are registered with the Dutchess County Board of Elections at least 10 days prior to the election are eligible to vote.

Your vote matters. We encourage all eligible residents to participate in this important community decision.

Please be advised:
❌ The Town of Washington will NEVER email or call requesting payment through money wiring or online payment services.
✔️ Accepted forms of payment include cash, check, credit card, and money orders.

We do NOT accept or request payment through:
• Venmo
• Zelle
• Cash App
• Money Wiring
• Bank Transfers

If you receive a suspicious email or phone call claiming to be from the Town, do not respond or send payment. Please contact Town Hall directly to verify any communication.
