Join the Dutchess BOCES Utility Bill Clinic on Thursday, April 16 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM in Poughkeepsie. Assemblymember Didi Barrett and the Public Utility Law Project will be there to help you understand your bill and explore ways to lower costs or access support.
Bring your utility bill, a form of ID, and any benefits documentation like HEAP, SNAP, or SSI if you have it.

CCEDC is hiring a full-time Executive Director to guide strategy, stabilize finances, and build stronger community partnerships. This role is all about leading the team, growing funding, and clearly communicating the impact of Extension programs to county leaders and donors.
If you have nonprofit leadership experience, know your way around financial oversight, and are comfortable using digital tools to modernize and expand engagement, you will feel right at home here.

The latest edition of the FCE at Cornell Cooperative Extension Dutchess County newsletter is hot off the e-presses!
This month highlights the volunteers who keep the work moving. Our board members and current PAC volunteers continue to show up, share their insight, and help shape programs that support families in real, practical ways. Their impact is deeply appreciated and felt across the community.
We are also inviting new voices to the table. The Program Advisory Committee offers a simple way to get involved with a small time commitment and meaningful influence. We are also preparing for the Stronger Together: A Family and Community Well Being Summit this fall and are seeking event coordinators and partners.
