Meet our newest Millburn-Short Hills Chamber member, Art of Problem Solving (AoPS)!

In this video, I’m chatting with Shanika, the Director of AoPS, about this unique supplemental educational program and how it helps children develop strong problem-solving, critical-thinking, and mathematical reasoning skills.

Students attend one day a week for 1 hour and 45 minutes, giving them the opportunity to challenge themselves, build confidence, and develop skills that extend beyond the traditional classroom.

I’m excited to welcome AoPS to the Millburn-Short Hills Chamber and to introduce this wonderful educational resource to our community!

I started the day by visiting AoPS (Art of Problem Solving) in Millburn, where I met with Shanika Semexant, the school’s Director. She gave me a tour of the campus, and I was incredibly impressed by her extensive experience in education and her passion for helping students succeed. I was also thrilled to welcome AoPS as the newest member of the Millburn-Short Hills Chamber of Commerce.

Next, I visited Pilates Addiction, where I met with the owner and two members of the management team to onboard them as new Chamber members. It was a pleasure getting to know them and learning more about their passion for building relationships. . I’m excited to officially welcome them to the Chamber.

I also had the opportunity to meet with John Brennan, an executive coach who donated his time and talent to run our Speed Networking event in June.

I really appreciated having lunch with our Board Co-Presidents, Samir Patel, owner of Blue Code, and Ross Fields of London Jewelers. We had a productive discussion about the Chamber’s continued growth and opportunities to better serve our members. Great day. Great people. Great Chamber.

What an incredible night at our Community 5K!

With 500 registered runners and walkers, more than two dozen generous sponsors, and so many community members and visitors joining us, the event was a tremendous success. It was inspiring to see our community come together for an evening of fitness, fun, and connection.

A heartfelt thank you to our presenting sponsor, RWJBarnabas Health, for helping make this event possible. We are also incredibly grateful to our Township Department of Public Works, Police Department, and EMTs for their hard work, support, and commitment to keeping everyone safe throughout the evening.

What an incredible morning at our Coffee with the Chamber – Speed Networking Edition!

The room was filled with energy as Chamber members and guests connected with one another in a fast-paced, highly organized networking experience designed to maximize meaningful introductions.
