What an incredible evening celebrating 40 years of Utah folk arts! πŸŽ‰βœ¨

Thank you to all the amazing local artists, staff, cultural partners, and community members who joined us last week for the opening reception of our "40 Years of Folk" Exhibition at the Chase Home Museum. πŸ›οΈπŸŽ¨

For four decades, our agency has had the honor of managing a dedicated exhibition space for Utah folk arts right in the heart of Salt Lake City. Seeing our community come together to enjoy live music, share memories, and appreciate these living traditions was the perfect way to kick off this milestone anniversary. 🎢❀️

Missed the opening? Good news! The museum is open for the weekend.

Swipe through for a glimpse of the artwork on display, from intricate beadwork and pottery to vibrant paintings and lacework. Then, come see it in person!

πŸ‘‡ When you visit, make sure to drop by our interactive station and share what the Chase Home Museum means to you. We'd love to add your memories to the exhibition! πŸ“βœ¨

Something exciting is coming soon to Cedar City! ✨

Get a sneak peek at our latest public artworks for the new George S. and Dolores DorΓ© Eccles Music Center, located at Southern Utah University. These installations are sending visual rhythmic vibes to campus before the first musical note is even played.

We can’t wait for the full unveiling! Which slide caught your eye first? Let us know in the comments! πŸ‘‡

There is a reason the team at National Book Foundation champions "literary arts as a vital part of our culture." Literary arts preserve our stories, challenge our perspectives, and capture our shared humanity.

Our Literary Arts Juror, Lia Purpura, applauds this year's fellows for creating "a form of kinship" through their work. She commends their "stunning" tempo and clarity, their "moving and tender" poems, their unique ways to "access language," and their profound "capacity to draw together the intimate and vast." ✨
