As the year come to an end, the Junior Firefighter program has had some challenges. The program was restarted in March, I the program director was promoted from Lieutenant to Battalion Chief and had to focus on the new role. Next year we are looking forward to expanding the program with new Junior Firefighters and training opportunities. We encourage teens ages 14-18 who are interested in the Fire/Rescue, Emergency Medical field to come by and see what Junior Firefighters is about. If it is something that interests you then you can become a Junior Firefighter. The program is free of charge and you will learn valuable, emergency skills, life skills and help your community at the same time. We will begin resuming trainings on January 10, 2022 at 6 pm at Baldwin County Fire/Rescue Headquarters at 312 Allen Memorial Dr.

We would like to wish Junior Firefighter Lieutenant Jayla Mullins all the luck as she leaves the program and moves into our Firefighter Rookie class.

Thanks and Happy Holidays: Battalion Chief/Junior Firefighter Program Director
