In addition, officers receive a minimum of 20 hours of training per year. It's a great day to be a Bobcat!

One of the best parts of this job happened today.

An incoming GCSU freshman stopped me to introduce herself. Years ago, I had the privilege of knowing her when I served as a School Resource Officer at Dacula Elementary School. To my surprise, she remembered me, and even more importantly, she wanted to thank me for the positive impact I had on her life.

Moments like this are a reminder that the small things matter. You never know when a kind word, a little encouragement, or simply being present will make a lasting difference.

This is why I do what I do, and why I love serving students.

Welcome to GCSU—we're glad you're here!

It's a great day to be a Bobcat!

Today I had the opportunity to serve as an instructor for the Elevate U Staff Development Program sponsored by the Georgia College & State University Staff Council. Investing in the professional growth and development of our campus community is truly one of the best parts of my job as Director of Public Safety and Chief of Police for Georgia College & State University.

Being able to share knowledge, engage with dedicated staff members, and support the continued success of our university reminds me daily why GCSU is such a special place.

Thank you to Staff Council for the opportunity and to everyone who participated today.
