Glad we got to spend time with organizations like Child Advocacy Services SEGA, Inc, The Teal House, Safe Haven, R.O.X Foundation, Family Enrichment Center, STEP Up Jenkins, Literacy Links, and others.

Today, we gathered to plant pinwheels, the national symbol of childhood hope, happiness, and resilience, to raise awareness about child abuse prevention and show our commitment to creating safe, supportive communities for all children.

If you want to verify anything, always look up the official contact information yourself and call directly.

The Screven County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a missing 15-year-old, Qwentin Gaines. He was last seen leaving Screven County High School at approximately 3:15 p.m., wearing black pants and a black shirt. Qwentin requires important medication.

If you have any information or see him, please call 911 or contact the Screven County Sheriff’s Office immediately.

🚨SCAM ALERT 🚨 : The Millen Police Department has notified us that scammers are calling citizens again claiming you have warrants, missed jury duty, or unpaid citations, and demanding money to clear them.

The Jenkins County Sheriff’s Office, or any other Law Enforcement Agency WILL NOT contact you via phone to pay (especially using GIFT CARDS) a warrant, pay for missing jury duty or anything else!

THIS IS A SCAM!!!

We do ask that you share this with anyone that does not have access to social media.
