FIRST PLACE!

The MPFD Extinguishers brought home 1st Place at the North Bellmore Invitational Drill, finishing with an outstanding 31 points!

Their dedication, teamwork, and countless hours of practice were on full display, and the results speak for themselves. We couldn’t be prouder of this talented team for representing our department with skill, determination, and pride.

Congratulations to all of our members on an amazing accomplishment….this is only the beginning! 🚒🔥

Last night, our crew responded as a mutual aid company to assist with a weather-related structure fire in Rocky Point.

Proud to stand alongside our neighboring departments, working together to protect our community during challenging conditions. Teamwork, training, and dedication make all the difference when the call comes.

Last night firefighters practiced bailout techniques, an important skill used in emergency situations when a rapid escape from a building is necessary. Regular training like this helps ensure our members are prepared to respond safely and effectively when seconds count.

Today is the day! Stop down and support the MPFD EMS Company at our Garage Sale & Bake Sale Fundraiser. Every purchase helps support our members. Thank you for your support!

Join us on May 30th from 8 AM–4 PM for our Garage Sale Fundraiser benefiting the MPFD EMS Company! We’ll have something for everyone, including clothes, toys, home décor, kitchen items, electronics, tools, books, and much more.

Tuesday, May 26, the volunteers of MPFD trained on brush fire operations and the use of our Brush Truck 6 and Stump Jumper 12.
Members first reviewed the vehicles functions and capabilities then went into training evolutions. They operated the vehicles, deployed booster lines, and used hand tools to stop the spread and extinguish (simulated) brush fires.
