During a recent investigation at Terrace View, the team placed a Spirit RC Car between two former patient rooms.

This isn’t a conventional remote-controlled car, and it isn’t triggered simply by someone walking past or standing nearby. Its sensor is designed to activate only when something comes extremely close—more like a hand reaching towards it.

Across three separate clips, the car activates and appears to move from one patient room to the other, despite nobody being visibly close enough to trigger it.

Mediums have previously reported sensing childlike spirits in this area. Who or what that presence might represent remains unknown, but a toy like this can offer a familiar way to invite interaction.

Another crew came to see if the stories were true.

They set up in the corridors, worked the patient rooms, and sat in the dark waiting for the building to answer. Judging by the title, it did.

Terrace View has been empty for years. It still doesn't feel that way.

A quick reminder, folks 👻

Terrace View is private property. We've had a few visitors lately wandering the grounds and looking through the windows, and we'd really appreciate it if that stopped.

We completely understand the curiosity. It's an intriguing building with a lot of history, but please don't turn up unannounced or peer through the windows.

TERRACE VIEW UPDATE

Another round of clearing done. The main rehab room and the old staff lounge are now fully open, ready to be staged for investigation.

We'll keep sharing progress as more areas come back online.

UPDATE: Thanks to all your help, the individuals from last week's trespassing incident have been identified. One has come forward and apologized. Others apparently think it's funny.

Let us be clear. Terrace View is private property. Security cameras run 24/7. Trespassing is a criminal offense, not a joke, and we will always involve law enforcement when necessary.

We appreciate those who reached out with information. This is exactly why we have this community.
