We received and are putting to use our new livestock scales and RFID tag reader to aid students in tracking rate of gain and feed conversion for student livestock projects. Animal Science senior Amelia Fetter spent two weeks this summer at Penn State’s Pennsylvania School for Excellence in the Agricultural Sciences (PSEAS).
While there, she earned the title of Borlaug Scholar through the PA World Food Prize Institute for her research on global food security. Her standout research and presentation earned her a spot as a delegate to the Global Food Prize Institute in Des Moines, Iowa this October, where she’ll collaborate with international leaders and scientists on solutions for world hunger. Well done Amelia!

Congratulations to Ms. Gagne for winning the Region VI NAAE Ideas Unlimited Award, presented by the National Association of Agricultural Educators.

This regional award recognizes agricultural educators who develop innovative, practical instructional concepts to enhance student learning. As the Region VI winner, Ms. Gagne will attend the annual NAAE Convention, where she will be formally recognized and present a professional development workshop sharing her creative teaching strategy with agricultural educators from across the nation.

Congratulations to our Chapter Delegates, KK Welch and Lathan Axe, for representing Manor FFA during the state convention.

📖 Our chapter scrapbook earned a Gold Ranking, and Manor FFA was recognized as a Pennsylvania Supreme Chapter! We will submit our application for national judging next week.

Your 2026-2027 Officer team! The first two days of summer break were spent investing in the future of our chapter.

Our officer team participated in a retreat focused on strengthening teamwork, setting goals, planning for the year ahead, and looking at what it means to “own it”.

We are excited to put our plans into action and continue creating opportunities for our students to find opportunities to grow!
