September's book club pick is "This Book Made Me Think of You" by Libby Page. Come join us on Tuesday September 22nd at 4pm to dig into this delightful novel!

Guess the Book Title #17!

This Newbery Medal winner was published in 1962, and we have the book, graphic novel, audiobook, and two film adaptations in our library catalog.

Dolly Parton did more for literacy in Tennessee than anyone we know, so we've added a few of her books to our shelf of staff favorites. Come read about her life, try her recipes, and carry on her legacy of putting good out into the world.

At today's STEAMonauts we learned about five different types of habitats: deserts, rainforests, oceans, mountains, and grasslands! Did you know that rainforest trees can release up to 200 gallons of water back into the atmosphere each year? Or that because deserts are so dry, the plants and animals that live there, like the cactus and the kangaroo rat, have adapted to survive without much water? The ocean makes up 70% of the Earth's surface, and scientists think we haven't even identified 90% of the marine species living in it! Wow!
