Millerton Fire Department and Big Elm Fire Department collaborated with UGI for a training session on Monday evening, held at Millerton Fire Department's facilities. We have not posted our Monday night training in a while, with the warm weather , someone snapped some photos of members working hard installing E-Tools ( electric extrication tools) into Rescue 12-8. Other members worked on routine equipment maintenance , to keep tools ready when needed, members also worked on patrol 12-14 to make sure with the threat of wildfires that all is in tip top shape.
Please don't burn when vegetation is dry,
Always be cautious and never leave your fire unattended.

Millerton FD and Erway Ambulance were dispatched to a MVA in Wells twp late Thursday evening . Rescue 12-18 Rescue 12-8 Engine 12-2 responded. One injury was reported.

Saturday March 14th at 1243hrs Millerton Fire Company was dispatched to Chemung County NY requesting a tanker for a barn fire.
Tanker 12-5 responded quickly and was able to help setup a second portable pond and empty the Tanker.
After refilling the fire was under control and Millerton FD was released and returned to the station.

Millerton FD, Big Elm and Erway Ambulance were dispatched to a structure fire in Wells twp Tuesday @ 0734 . First report was structure fire with several people inside. At this time a second alarm was called. Webbs Mills and Pine City FD were dispatched .Millerton FD responded quickly with Engine 12-2 Tanker 12-5 ladder 12-9 Rescue 12-18 Rescue 12-8, arriving quickly, laying large Diameter Hose from the intersection to the house on a dead end street. Members went to the second story where the fire was reported, a small fire was found and quickly put out . Mop up operations were completed, all units returned, no injuries were reported.

Thursday morning Millerton FD and Big Elm along with Erway Ambulance were dispatched to a MVA in Jackson twp involving two vehicles . Millerton responded with Engine 12-2 Rescue 12-18 and Rescue 12-8. No injuries were reported.
