Third Thursday Meeting at Olympic Steak and Pizza.

Karen Madlock of Rise Memphis - Greater Memphis Financial Empowerment Center outlined the financial counseling services offered.

The service is free and covers financial decisions at many stages of life.

A Millington location shall be located in the future at the Baker Community Center.

Steve Broome Golf Tournament Sept 18

The rent for the Kiddie Land bounce houses will be about $1800. Key Club members will help manage the children.

The club collected and donated $600 for the Hunt family.

The club donated $500 to the Bluff City Kiwanis Club to assist a family of six kids that lost their mother to cancer.

The club commiserated with Oscar over his loss for the Kiwanis Governor position. The Louisiana clubs voted to install one of their own.

July Morning meeting, first Thursday at First Methodist Church

A thousand dollar donation to Camp Conquest was made out of the Herbie Fund.

A $150 donation was made to the Field of Flags, which is starting today next to Abandoned Antiques.

The Kiwanis District Convention is coming up first weekend in August in New Orleans.

Third Thursday Meeting at Olympic Steak and Pizza

JJ Stewart and Mike Fingeroth of Recreational Concepts presented the playground and shade equipment offered by their company.

JJ is a project manager and had many ideas from different playgrounds constructed in TN and Alabama.

The Steve Broome Golf Tournament is scheduled for September 18.

May First Thursday Meeting at First Methodist Church

Long time member Bob Hunt passed away and we are seeking a way to memorialize him. One idea is to place a plaque on one of the Kiwanis benches or at Kiwanis park.

The Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast generated $6000 for future projects. Future projects are Goat Days kid zone and golf tournament.

Currently, the club is awarding four $1000 college scholarships to four outstanding high school students at three area high schools.
