The library is a 10,000 square foot building with a physical collection of over 30,000 items and access to 100,000 ebooks, audiobooks, magazines, and other materials.

Our Summer Reading Kick-Off is May 30th (12-2PM)

New Tonies® have arrived!

Our two new Tonie® characters are:
The Cat in the Hat and Ms.Rachel!

These Tonie® characters are available now for checkout individually!

We also have Tonie® kits, which include a set of three characters, and a Toniebox® to play them on.

The Toniebox® is an imagination building,
screen-free, digital listening experience that plays stories and songs.

Thanks to Millington, TN - Municipal Government and Xfinity for supporting this new Outdoor Classroom space behind the library. We greatly appreciate being a part of the Millington Parks & Recreation team and can't wait to have programs in this awesome new space!

A huge THANK YOU to our amazing "dream team" of staff and volunteers who helped make today's Summer Reading Program kickoff a roaring success! 🦖📚

Special thanks to Patriot Bank for providing popcorn and wonderful volunteers to help throughout the event.

We'd also like to thank the Millington Library Boosters for helping decorate the library and run our carnival games. Your support helped make this a fun and memorable day for our community!

Today, the Millington Public Library and Public Works Department made an amazing discovery while excavating outside the library...
They unearthed Digby the Dinosaur! 🦕🎉
Just in time for the kickoff of our 2026 "Unearth a Story" Summer Reading Program, Digby has emerged and is ready for a summer of reading, learning, and adventure.
