TETHER - Technical Large Animal Rescue - Illinois We are in startup mode to be first responders to large animal emergencies in Illinois. We need volunteers to be first responders with us. Training is FREE.

Launched in July of 2015, with the support and guidance of MERS - Large Animal Rescue out of Missouri, we are on our way to be highly trained first responders to large animal emergencies for Illinois. We are NOT a shelter, but a free emergency call out service. (618) 202-8800. Our hope is to offer, when we are not responding to large animal rescues, a safety training program to all barns and farms

on how to reduced large animals incidents and what to do and have available should one occur. We are new, but we are also, a caring and determined group of rescue volunteers. As the months come you will hear and see more from TETHER - Large Animal Rescue. We are just starting to do great things! We need volunteers to join our newly founded team and thus, if you would like to know more about joining TETHER - Large Animal Rescue please contact our acting Executive Director, Jeanne Cocos at [email protected].
