Please be aware of several upcoming street closures in the Village of Millstadt due to asphalting and community activities. We ask everyone to plan ahead and use alternate routes during these closures. 🚗⚠️

🛣️ NORTH MONROE STREET & NORTH JACKSON STREET
📅 Tuesday, September 1st & Wednesday, September 2nd

* The first block of North Monroe Street will be closed.
* The first block of North Jackson Street will be closed.
Closed from West Washington Street to West Mill Street for asphalting
🏫 If you use these streets for MCS drop-off or pick-up, please take an alternate route.

🏫 NORTH MAIN STREET & AMERICAN LEGION DRIVE
📅 After school on Thursday, September 3rd through Sunday, September 6th

*North Main Street will be closed from the bingo stand to American Legion Drive.
*American Legion Drive will be closed from North Jefferson Street to North Main Street.
Closed for Homecoming
🏫 If you use these streets for MPC drop-off or pick-up, please take an alternate route.

🇺🇸 Labor Day Holiday Notice 🇺🇸

Just a reminder to our residents that the Village Office will be CLOSED on Monday, September 7th, in observance of Labor Day. 🏛️

🗑️ Trash & Recycling Schedule Changes
Due to the holiday, collection will be pushed back by one day:

🗑️ Trash Pick-Up: Thursday, September 10th
♻️ Recycling Pick-Up: Friday, September 11th — for residents east of Jefferson Street

💧 Water Bill Reminder 💧
Water bills were taken to the post office today, so keep an eye out for them in your mailbox! 📬

📧 Email bills were sent out last Friday.

⏰ Water bills are due by 5:00 PM on Wednesday, September 16th to avoid late fees.

Residents, please take note of these important reminders:

💰 AUGUST WATER BILLS:
Anyone who has not paid their August water bill by 5:00 PM on Wednesday, August 26th will be subject to the shut-off fee and their water service will be shut off. Please make sure your payment is made by the deadline to avoid additional fees and interruption of service. 💧⚠️

🚧 OIL & CHIP ROAD WORK THIS WEEK:
The following roads will be oiled and chipped this week:

📍 North Mulberry Street
📍 Krista Lane
📍 Beil Road

📢 Weather permitting, oil and chipping will begin this week on the following streets:

🚗 The Village asks that any vehicles parked on these streets please be moved until oil and chipping is completed. Your cooperation will help ensure the work is completed safely and efficiently.

💧 Fire Hydrant Flushing Notice 💧

🚒 Fire hydrant flushing will begin at the beginning of August. During this time, you may notice a faint bleach smell in your water. This is a normal part of the flushing process and is temporary.
