attend the July 5th Meeting of the Millstone Twp Comm: Jaimie Beth
June 28 at 10:13 AM
As per Mary Fiore, this info is for Scooters Corner on Paint Island Spring Road.
Mr Norieka is seeking a variance on his property to move his residence and store, plus bring in housing and retail stores . This application was discussed by the council last night. It will continue on July 25, the next meeting scheduled at the Municipal Building. Please spread the word... only residents within 200 ft of the property were notified by a letter. The turnout was not as good because many are not aware of this application proposed.
If you don't want more houses, apartments and retail stores at an already dangerous and busy corner, then attend the meeting.

A letter from Roz Ressner to the "Editor"..:

Letter to the Editor

Take Action
The shameful exploitation of innocent people who seek asylum and separation of parents and children is abhorrent to all the values we hold dear in this country. District 4 constituents have implored Rep. Smith to fight for basic goodness and social justice. However, while he supports pro-life values, Mr. Smith seems to lose interest once a child is born. Thousands of children, caged like animals and in fear of never seeing their parents again, are at risk physically and emotionally, while the health of many American families will soon be on the chopping block if the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program is not renewed, threatening untold hardship throughout the country.
If Mr. Smith were truly pro-life, caring for all children would be a no brainer. Instead, his deafening silence, while this administration’s cruel policies run rough shod over American values, frightfully reminds us of what happens when good leadership is usurped by unrestrained power and monetary gain. The continuing weakening of our country’s ideals and moral standards has caused unprecedented divisions among us, demonstrating a weaker, not a greater union. Mr. Smith and his colleagues must not sink to the depths of the ugliness occurring around the globe but must demonstrate that the United States remains a beacon of light for those fleeing oppression. What we need now, more than ever in District 4, is bold progressive leadership. If Mr. Smith is unable to stand up for us, we ask that he Step Down!
