A very special thank you to Cave Country Canoes and Out of the Blue Ice Cream & Coffee for donating our giveaway prizes. These businesses continually step up to support us whenever we host a community event, and we sincerely appreciate their generosity and continued partnership. 🚽🚨 BREAKING NEWS FROM THIS PAST WEEKENDS MILLTOWN COMMUNITY FESTIVAL! 🚨🚽

The annual Charity Toilet Race is officially in the books, and we’re happy to report that the Milltown Police Department brought home the WIN! 🏆🚔

Apparently, the Milltown Fire Department was caught sleeping at the start… 😴🚒 By the time they woke up, MPD was already flushing the competition! 😂🚽💨

We’re not saying firefighters are slow… but apparently without lights and sirens, things get a little more difficult. 🤷‍♂️🔥🤣

All jokes aside, this is one of those events that makes the Milltown Community Festival so much fun. Great people, friendly competition, plenty of laughs, and most importantly, raising money for a good cause.

Great race, Milltown Fire Department! There’s always next year. 😉

FINAL SCORE:
🚔 Milltown Police Department — 🏆 TOILET RACE CHAMPIONS
🚒 Milltown Fire Department — 😴 Still waking up

CONGRATULATIONS TO EAST CRAWFORD ELEMENTARY ON BEING THE OVERALL CHAMPION!

What a wonderful weekend in Milltown!

The Milltown Police Department sincerely thanks everyone who helped make the 2026 Milltown Community Festival safe, successful, and enjoyable for our community and visitors.

We are also pleased to report that there were no arrests or major incidents during the festival. Thanks to the cooperation of our community, visitors, volunteers, and public safety partners, everyone was able to enjoy a safe and memorable weekend.

👮 A SPECIAL THANK YOU TO OUR OFFICERS

We proudly recognize Officer Goss and Officer Dwayne Osborne of the Milltown Police Department for their hard work throughout the festival.

Festival weekend requires long hours, road closures, traffic control, calls for service, public assistance, equipment setup, and countless behind-the-scenes responsibilities. We are grateful for their dedication to our department and community.

We also extend a very special thank-you to Deputy Nale of the Crawford County Sheriff’s Department, who volunteers his time to assist us during the Milltown Community Festival every year.

🇺🇸 WE HAVEN’T FORGOTTEN — SEPTEMBER 11, 2001 🇺🇸

Twenty-five years ago, our nation was forever changed.

Today, the Milltown Police Department pauses to remember the 2,977 innocent lives lost on September 11, 2001, and to honor the firefighters, law enforcement officers, EMS personnel, military members, dispatchers, and countless ordinary Americans who answered an extraordinary call to serve.

We remember the courage shown in the face of unimaginable tragedy. We remember the families who never got to say goodbye. We remember those who ran toward danger while others were trying to escape. And we remember the unity that brought Americans together in the days that followed.

Twenty-five years later, our promise remains the same:

We remember. We honor. We haven’t forgotten.

May we never forget September 11, 2001, and may we always honor the lives, courage, service, and sacrifice of that day.

🎡 ’Twas the Night Before the Milltown Festival 🎡

’Twas the night before Festival, throughout our small town,
The banners were hung and the streets settled down.
The barricades waited, the cones were in line,
For tomorrow in Milltown, it finally was time!

The vendors were ready, the stage shining bright,
As Blue River rolled on through the quiet of night.
Soon Main Street would fill up with neighbors and friends,
For food, fun, and memories from beginning to end.

There’ll be music and laughter, a parade coming through,
And Sunday, the Auto Show will have classics on view.
But more than the festivities, year after year,
It’s the people of Milltown who make Festival dear.

So drive safe, make memories, and enjoy every sight—
Happy Milltown Festival to all, and to all a good night! 🎡💙

Wishing everyone a safe and enjoyable Festival. Special Thank you to the countless volunteers who come together to showcase the Town we love!

💙 FIRST RESPONDER SU***DE AWARENESS 💙
Su***de Prevention & Awareness Month

Every day, first responders answer the call when others are experiencing their worst moments. But behind the badge, uniform, helmet, or radio is a person who may be carrying struggles that others never see.

Police officers, firefighters, EMS personnel, dispatchers, corrections officers, and other public safety professionals are routinely exposed to trauma, loss, stress, and situations that can take a lasting emotional toll.

This month, the Milltown Police Department wants to remind every first responder:

You do not have to carry it alone.

Checking on one another matters. Asking someone if they’re okay matters. Listening without judgment matters. Reaching out for help is a sign of strength—not weakness.

Watch for changes in yourself and your coworkers, including withdrawal, hopelessness, increased substance use, significant mood or behavior changes, or talking about feeling like a burden or having no reason to live.

If you or someone you know is struggling or experiencing a mental health or su***de crisis, call or text 988 to reach the Su***de & Crisis Lifeline.

🚨 If there is an immediate danger or emergency, call 911.

To our fellow first responders: Your life matters. Your family needs you. Your brothers and sisters in public safety need you. Your community needs you.

Don’t wait until someone is in crisis to check in.

Make the call. Send the text. Knock on the door. Start the conversation.

💙 Take care of those who take care of everyone else.
