Some news!

The library will be closed Tuesday, 4/18 and Wednesday, 4/19 for a little break!

Normal library hours will resume Thursday, 4/20 from 10am-8pm.

Swipe for some news about our Tool Lending Library: unfortunately, due to staffing issues, we are unable to continue lending tools. This Saturday 4/15 will be the last day to borrow tools, but you can continue to return borrowed tools to staff during regular library hours.

How about a little free yoga on your lunch break? We're so excited to welcome back for outdoor yoga on our back deck as the weather improves! Join us on Wednesdays starting April 26th at noon for a 45 minute practice. Please bring your own mat. Sunscreen is also recommended! Chairs are available to support your practice. Cancellations due to weather will be posted here day-of!

Hey yinz! We are closed for cleaning tomorrow, Friday, March 24th all day. We will be open again Saturday, March 25th for regular hours: 10am-6pm. Please stop in today before 8pm if you really need to print that thing or find that book!

Join us Monday, March 20th from 5-8pm to celebrate Nowruz: the Iranian or Persian new year, celebrated by many across the world. There will be free food in the library backyard and a celebration of the equinox--occurring exactly at 5:24pm! Don't miss it!

Apologies for the inconvenience but our Tool Library is closed today. Saturday hours for the Tool Library will resume next Saturday, March 18th from 10am-5pm. We will be accepting tool returns at any time--please bring tools to a staff member inside the library!

Swipe to see your next opportunity to give feedback on the new playground in Millvale! Today, Saturday, March 11th will be at the library at 12pm to receive input on the new playground designs. We are especially interested in what kids have to say about the new playground!

We have some neighboring families that need help with necessities! We ask that you PLEASE read this caption carefully if you would like to help-it will help us coordinate resources. We will NOT be responding to direct messages about this ask, and we have turned off the comments; emails only please. Please like and share this post if you cannot support in other ways.

If you have the following furniture items that you would like to donate:

1. A twin bunkbed set (with all pieces and hardware, must be able to drop off in Millvale)

2. Two children's beds (with all pieces and hardware, must be able to drop off in Millvale)

3. Kid-sized and/or adult dressers (all pieces and hardware, all drawers and handles, must be able to drop off in Millvale)

To donate these specific items, please email Jess at jlandolina405[at]gmail.com with the specifics of your items and a photo or two if possible. We understand that kids' furniture will have some wear and tear, but please make sure these are still functional, safe, usable items.
