Bacon Families,

Due to the impending weather forecast for tomorrow, May 22, 2026, we are going to reschedule Fun Day.

As you can imagine, coordinating this event involves multiple vendors, including two separate bounce companies and food services, so rescheduling is quite a process. At this time, Fun Day has been rescheduled for Wednesday, May 27, 2026.

As a result, tomorrow will now be a regular school day for students and staff in grades K-3.

Please note that any student who had previously been restricted from participating in Fun Day will remain restricted for the rescheduled event.

At this point, we do not yet have any additional information regarding Olympic Day for 4th and 5th grade, but please stay tuned for updates.

At RM Bacon Elementary, we know that great schools are built on relationships, heart, and people who show up every single day for children.

During Staff Appreciation Week, our staff received dozens of heartfelt messages from students, parents, former students, and community members. The words shared reminded us just how special the Bacon family truly is.

To celebrate the incredible people who make Bacon such a caring and supportive place for children to learn and grow, we created this Staff Appreciation 2026 video tribute.

Thank you to our teachers, paraprofessionals, custodians, cafeteria staff, bus drivers, counselors, office staff, CST members, support staff, and everyone who helps make Bacon a place where students feel seen, valued, and loved.
