Argonne Road Corridor Improvement Project Community Update:
With equipment now arriving, crews are returning to complete the final installations on Argonne! What to expect over the next few weeks.
This week:
• Signal cabinet testing and inspections
• Pulling wire for signal cabinets
Weeks of January 26th – 30th and February 2nd – 6th:
• Traffic control setup
• Install handrail at City Hall ADA ramp
• Continue signal and lighting work
• Perform wiring, testing, and alignment of new signals
• Complete signal activation and lighting connections
• Final work on the concrete barrier adjacent to the trail
To safely complete this final phase of work, expect some short-term lane closures. While an effort will be made to minimize disruption, motorists should plan for occasional delays or slower travel.
