Monday evening MVFC officers spent time training and teaching our new probationary and junior firefighters the basic skills to becoming a firefighter. They learned new skills such as how to properly don SCBA, hose deployment and hose advancement.

MVFC along with Richland FC members spent some time this evening filling pools around town for residents for the upcoming hot summer days.

MVFC Members are out on tuckahoe and broad st conducting our annual coin drop. Come by and support your local volunteers!

Milmay station 12-4 was dispatched into Weymouth township for multiple callers reporting a structure fire. 12700 requested a working fire box while en route and later confirmed a 1 story residential structure fully involved.

Engine 1241 grabbed the closest hydrant on the way in utilizing a 5 inch supply line. Crews from engines 1241 and 1242 sent forward man power and made an interior attack with a 1 3/4 hand line.
