We are looking to locate and speak to the subjects on this ATV. We are still in closed season for ATV use. Also, the operator drove without proper lighting and cut across the Milo Library/Fire Department lawn tearing up some grass. Some damage was also done to a sprinkler.

If you know the subjects, or are either of the subjects, please reach out to us so we can have a discussion. you can call our dispatch at 207-564-3304 option 1 to speak to an officer.

The trails will be open soon enough. There is no excuse for cutting across property without permission or doing damage to the property of another. This may lead to further restrictions if this type of behavior continues to be an issue.

Ride safe and with respect everyone.

There has been concern on different Facebook sites about the Graston subject. Just FYI from what we have found, the subject is not here in town, but is staying somewhere closer to the Bangor area.

So you are aware, police departments do not have control over when or where the courts allow defendants to be in or out custody.

If there any issues feel free to call us and everybody try and stay dry out there.

We are aware that there have been a rash of thefts occurring recently. Some of the items being targeted are unlocked vehicles for quick cash and sellable items and also propane tanks. Derby has been heavily affected. Tradewinds pumps have also been targeted. These thefts are being perpetrated late night/early morning. If you are a victim please contact the PD with your information. We are working on identifying the subjects involved. If have cameras in these areas affected, please check them to see if they caught anything.

When we find those responsible, they will be charged. If you are found in possession of the stolen property, you will be charged.

Be wary of anyone selling items off the street and please lock your vehicles.

Any information please contact dispatch to get in touch with an officer at 207-564-3304.

At approx. 1147am today, We responded to a fight call at Penquis Valley High School with several students involved.

There was no stabbing or weapons used. For clarification, when the call was made to 911, The caller stated "staff was involved" which was misheard as "stabbing involved" due to all the noise in the background.

There were a few minor injuries and some people transported to the hospital for treatment.

We would like to thank the Maine Warden service for assisting. Also thanks to Three Rivers Ambulance, Milo Fire Dept., Brownville Fire Dept. and NL Mayo Ambulance for tending to all those involved.

We want to share the new graphics design of our cruisers. Both of these cars had several stickers that were faded/damaged and need to be replaced. Because of the number of stickers that needed to be replaced, we decided it was a good time to redesign our cars to better be in line with the outdoor recreation theme that the Town is trying to promote in our area. Brynn, from Ed's Print and Tint in Dover, was able to take an actual picture someone took looking down Schoodic Lake towards Mount Katahdin and turn it into what you see on the cruisers. The design process has taken most of the summer to get where we are today. We want to give a huge thank you to James, Dan, and Brynn of Ed's Print and Tint in Dover-Foxcroft for all the effort they put into this start to finish.
