For many, many years GPA-CNHC main source of income has come from the NH Charitable Trust program. The many poker/gaming rooms in NH are required to donate 35% of their proceeds to NH registered 501c charities. We are one of those groups.
This year we are affiliated with the new gaming room in Rochester, NH. https://www.lilacclubcasino.com/ They also have a resturant that is supposed to be very nice.
Our dates this year are August 24-28.
If anyone has some disposable income and would like to check out this new location, please consider attending during those dates.
These funds help us cover expenses for any GH's that come back into our care.
Last year Bart and Sapphire came back to us after their adopter had some serious medical issues and did pass away.
Even though they were both in good shape they did need updated vaccines and dentals. Expenses for both came to close to $10,000. Bart at 12 is in a sort of hospice care. We are paying for any expenses he needs. Food, vet visits, etc., so his expenses will be ongoing.
