Want another fun way to experience Story Gardens?

We now have two HAMMOCKS that you can check out for use in Story Gardens thanks to the Milton Youth Coalition. What a great way to relax, enjoy the outdoors, and soak in the sun.

Some things to know:
--hammocks can only be used in Story Gardens during library hours
--hammocks are first-come, first serve
--they have a two-hour "checkout period" and you must have a card in good standing to check one out
--youth under the age of 12 must be supervised by an adult
--please no food, beverages, or shoes in the hammocks (yes, Jayme is wearing her shoes in the picture; but, no shoes!)
--please follow the set up and take down instructions provided with both hammocks. If available, staff members are happy to help!

The library's drama club, Drum Roll Please, is holding an audition workshop TOMORROW, May 30, from 12:00 to 2:00 for their summer performance of The Wizard of Oz!

Audtions will be held on Wednesday, June 10, and Thursday, June 11, both from 4:00 to 6:00.

Drum Roll Please is a teen-led drama club and is for those in grades 4-12.

Story Gardens is the perfect place to read The Wizard of Oz!

Participate in the library's community-wide read of The Wizard of Oz this summer. We're encouraging the community to connect with each other through reading and discussing this classic. We have mutliple copies available at the library now, including an easy readers edition for younger readers.

There's plenty of time to grab a copy and read it before The Wizard of Oz Book Discussion @ Sharla's Coffee Stop on Saturday, June 20 at 11:00. Can't make that one? No worries! We have two more book discussions scheduled during the summer.
