Nothing cheers up a gray day faster than singing with friends. A little rain just means louder singing, bigger smiles, and more reasons to laugh together!

Today at Tulip we made a "Friendship Flower" 🌺
Everyone who wanted to join the creative table made their own petal, and together those petals became one beautiful flower. In the center we added somethings that make us good friends.
A simple craft turned into a sweet reminder: friendship grows when everyone brings a little piece of themselves.

We had some very special visitors at Tulip today… baby chicks! 🐥
They may be tiny, but they brought BIG smiles, lots of gentle hands, and plenty of “awwwwws” around the room. A few of them were a little chatty, a little wobbly, and very sure they were the stars of the show.
Honestly, they fit right in. Cute, curious, slightly messy, and loved by everyone.
There is something so sweet about moments like this — holding a baby chick, sharing stories about farms and gardens, remembering childhood animals, and laughing together.
At The Tulip Place, joy sometimes comes with feathers.

Introducing Sara! Some of you may have met her already but I would like to introduce our Program Operations Coordinator Sara.
Many of our members have actually known Sara for about two years already, because before joining us in this role, she would spend time with the group through music therapy. So having her here now feels less like “someone new joined Tulip” and more like “someone we already loved became an even bigger part of our days.”
Sara helps keep Tulip organized, on track, and state compliant — which means lots of administrative paperwork, details, follow-through, and behind-the-scenes work that matters more than people realize.
Beyond all the important work she does behind the scenes, Sara brings something extra special to our days: her music. 🎶
Sara is one of those people who seems able to pick up almost any instrument and make something beautiful happen. Yesterday, she brought her violin, and it added such an incredible moment to our day.
Thank you, Sara, for helping care for the heart and the structure of what we do. 🌷

Happy Birthday to our Bold Mr. Brian! 🎉Today we are celebrating a man with a big laugh, a great sense of humor, and a life full of
stories worth telling.
Born in 1954, in the Philadelphia area and raised in Havertown, Mr. Brian grew up surrounded
by two sisters Lynn and Gail, family, fun, and the kind of childhood memories that stay with you
forever. He was raised by his mom Doris, who clearly passed down her laughter and joy for life,
and his dad Josef, an engineer and naval inspector for Navy yards. A family loving, lively, and
full of personality.
Mr. Brian has always had a gift for enjoying life and for making other people laugh. He
remembers his childhood fondly, especially spending time with his friends and just having a
good time. That same spirit followed him to Penn State, where he studied business, joined a
fraternity, made lifelong friends, and apparently treated college with a level of creativity that
deserves some recognition. He and his friends would buy one book for the whole group… then
somehow not be able to find it when they needed it. They missed exams, claimed they were on
the football team, and managed to retake them. Not exactly a model for academic excellence,
but definitely a model for confidence.
After college, Brian moved to New York and started working at Sears. Later he worked for
Burlington Industries in textiles, and that career took him all over the country — from Philly to
New York to Florida to Missouri and finally to Georgia.
And then he met Mr. Carol, who was working as a secretary for a law firm, at a party. They
talked all evening, and that was it — love at first sight. Somewhere in the middle of all that, they
made a bet, Mr. Brian “lost,
” and had to buy her a White Castle hamburger (he only bought one,
and as many of you know, they are tiny) . Conveniently, that gave him an excuse to see her
again. Smart man. Happy Birthday Mr. Brian we love having you in our group and making us smile and laugh! 🎂🎉
