Their sacrifice and dedication will never be forgotten. As we spend time with family and friends this weekend, we encourage everyone to take a moment to reflect on the true meaning of Memorial Day and remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.

This past weekend, members of the Milton Police and Milton Fire Honor Guard, along with other attending members of the Milton Police Department, had the privilege of attending the Special Olympics event held at Milton Academy.

Officers had the opportunity to meet and connect with the incredible athletes while also assisting in presenting awards during the ceremonies. It was truly a great day filled with sportsmanship, positivity, and community spirit.

We are grateful for the opportunity to be part of such a meaningful event and want to thank everyone involved for making it such a memorable day. Congratulations to all of the athletes! 🏅🚓🚒💙

🚧TRAFFIC ADVISORY - ROAD CLOSURE🚧

Please be advised that Blue Hill Avenue in Mattapan Square will be closed to all traffic on Sunday from 12:00 PM to 4:00PM due to a scheduled parade. Drivers are encouraged to seek alternate routes and plan ahead to avoid delays.

Today, on Peace Officers Memorial Day, the Milton Police Department pauses to honor and remember the courageous law enforcement officers who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to their communities and country. 🇺🇸🖤💙
