The Town of Marlborough Police extend our deepest condolences to the Sgroi family and the Yorktown Police Department on the death of Lt.
Kenneth Sgroi, who died yesterday. We mourn his passing and stand in support of our brothers and sisters in the YPD at this difficult time. Lt. Sgroi attended the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office Zone XIV Police Academy in 2007 with three our our officers. May he rest in eternal peace.

Our 2016 Police TOY drive is in full swing! Buy some toys and drop them off at Police HQ (24-7) or CVS/Dollar General/Sawyer Savings in the "plaza". All toys go to LOCAL kids! If you see Officer Fulton in the DARE car parked in front of the toy store...that means you buy a toy and "stuff it in the DARE car". He'll step out to make way for toys for sure! Thanks in advance for your generosity!!!

Our 2015 Police Toy Drive ends like this: almost 40 families' children helped by your generous donations! This year we also teamed up with United Methodist Church of Milton/Marlboro and gave out a lot of food. All in all, a successful event. Thanks to Post 1650 cadets for assisting. Outstanding!
