Spring Into Service Day! –

We have a program coming up at the MCYC called Girls Day. Girls Day is a free event open to Milton girls in grades 3-8 and the important women in their lives. There are tons of workshops and activities including zumba, yoga, songwriting, self-defense, cupcake decorating, the Derby Dames, and massage for moms.

Date: Saturday, May 12, 2012 (Saturday prior to Mother's Day)
Time: 10am-2pm
Where: New Life Christian Fellowship, Milton, Vermont

Right now we are looking for volunteers to help with set up, take down, float during workshops, assist presenters, take photos, and work the registration table. If you have free time that day and are interested, let me know, we'd love to have some help!

All volunteers receive a t-shirt and free lunch!

There are opportunities to help tutor students in the middle school. The homework club meets M, T, W, Th from 2:40-4:00. Come one day a week--or more! Help needed in all subjects, but especially middle school math.

Community Service Opportunity this Thursday!

The Milton Community Youth Coalition needs your help to make our annual mailing a success. Volunteers will help us stuff envelopes and prepare the mailing. We're providing pizza dinner and it should be a blast.

Sign up to help from 3pm - 5pm, or 5pm - 7pm this Thursday. Let me know if you can come!
