I'm glad that the state has added $36 million to help restore funding for victims services organizations, but 𝗶𝘁’𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗲𝗻𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵.

There's still a funding gap for many established organizations, including Fearless Hudson Valley, Inc. and Family Services in my district.

We can’t penalize organizations with a proven track record by taking money from their operating budgets and giving it to new organizations. The funding process must change.

Great food for a great cause at Milton Engine Company's annual lobster, clam and steak bake. Everything was delicious 🦞

This year's event was a huge success, and the money raised will help the fire company build a storage facility nearby.

I'm pictured here with members of the engine company, Marlboro County Legislator Laura Donovan, and some very tasty seafood.

I was proud to join Sen. Michelle Hinchey and Town Supervisor Scott Corcoran to announce the overhaul of the Town of Marlborough Highway Department building and expansion of their emergency response operations.

The $250,000 in funding that I secured for the project helped to renovate and restore the department's 65-year-old building, which now includes the Highway Department, Water Department and the town’s emergency ambulance crew.

The numbers are in ➡️ New Yorkers have paid $𝟮.𝟮 𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 for gasoline since the war in Iran started. 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝘁'𝘀 $𝟰𝟬𝟱 𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗱.

We need to stay focused on lowering costs, not raising them for hardworking families.

So glad I could make it to Orange County Community College - SUNY Orange for the “Designing the City of Newburgh 2050” Summer Program Finale. This innovative summer project comes from the Suny Orange Lpp.

The project encouraged middle school students to imagine the City of Newburgh in 2050 through urban design, architecture and community development. What a great way to learn about Newburgh's history and plan for its future!

Thanks to everyone who joined National Night Out in Newburgh 🌙

When we come together to talk, hang out and have fun as a community, we strengthen our bonds and make our city more connected.

It was great to see so many young people joining the recent celebration of Frederick Douglass in Poughkeepsie.

We gathered to commemorate Douglass, an abolitionist who was critical to the fight for African-American civil rights, and his 1858 speech in Poughkeepsie.

We had perfect weather at the Healthy Orange Farmers Market last week 🥕🍅🫛 What a great day to announce a $𝟮𝟬,𝟬𝟬𝟬 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘁 for the market's Produce Voucher Program!

I was proud to secure this funding to support the dedicated work of Cathedral Community Development Foundation, which operates the farmers market.

A huge thanks to the foundation's Director, Bishop Jeffrey C. Woody (pictured), for his commitment to giving everyone in the community access to nourishing, locally grown food.
