📣 Updated Deadline: Alderperson Vacancy Applications Due September 22, 2026

The City of Milton Common Council is accepting applications to fill a vacant Alderperson position. The individual selected will serve the remainder of the unexpired term through April 2027.

• Eligibility: Applicants must be residents of the City of Milton.
• Deadline: Completed letters of interest must be submitted by Tuesday, September 22, 2026.

Selection Process:
Qualified applicants will participate in a two-meeting selection process. Interviews will be conducted in open session during the October 6, 2026, Common Council meeting, followed by a public hearing at the October 20, 2026, meeting.

Due to the Labor Day holiday, curbside brush collection will be delayed until Tuesday, September 8. Please have all brush at the curb by 6 a.m. that day to ensure pickup.

The City of Milton Common Council is accepting applications to fill a vacancy for an Alderperson position. The individual selected will serve the remainder of the unexpired term through April 2027.

In addition, the Milton Public Library-Wisconsin will be closed Saturday, September 5 through Monday, September 7.
