Here's a letter to the editor from Larry Brown, State Rep candidate for the New Strafford 2 District that links Milton and Rochester Ward 5:
To the Editor
November 1, 2022
From: Larry Brown -State Rep candidate
I'm running for State Rep in the new Strafford 2 House District,
Milton and Rochester's Ward 5. Election boundaries change: Our rights to Community do not.
The New Hampshire Constitution says that every member of the community has an equal right to its protection, that all religions have equal protection and none are above civil law, that we are to cherish Education, Science, and the facts of History, that our legislators take an oath of allegiance to the Constitutions of the United States of America and New Hampshire.
For twenty years, as volunteer and public official, I have worked to build and support Community-- for my Town, County, and State. I have chaired most Town committees and our regional planning commission, served three terms as State Rep (District 3) and spent two years on the County Delegation's Executive Committee.
Eventually someone different will come into your life. They may talk funny, look funny, come from the wrong country, use the wrong pronouns, or just be pregnant against their will. If they do not have the same rights to Community you have today it will break your heart. Vote the extremists out. Vote the Secessionists out. Vote the NH Constitution-- for every member of our Community.
Thank you for your consideration.
Larry Brown
